I'm a people person. I am extremely passionate about music. I love every form of art. I'm a coffee addict. Rahab and Peter are a couple of my favorite people in the Bible. I'm an open book; ask me anything and I'll probably tell you. I love laughing and making people laugh. I strive to live every moment to the fullest. However, above all of this, I am absolutely in love with my Savior, Jesus Christ. God has rescued me from the domain of darkness and transferred me into the kingdom of His beloved Son. Thanks be to God! In Him I live and move and have my being!
Wow, that went by fast. How are the two years already over? So I know that I'm still young. I've only been on this earth for 25 years and hopefully I have a lot of great years ahead of me. But I can confidently say that the past two years were the best of my life so far. That doesn't mean I didn't have a crazy amount of struggles and difficulties, becasue trust me I did. I grew and learned more than I could have possibly expected. I have such a better handle on who I am as a person and who I am in Christ. None of this came easy, however. The growing was painful. The learning was even more…

Every Tuesday at die Arche (my primary ministry) is "Lesestunde mit Ramsey" which means, "Reading Hour with Ramsey." I get the opportunity to read a Bible story to kids in a comfy room with pillows, blankets, candles, cookies, and hot tea. This all proves to be quite difficult since everything is in German! But after 2 years here, thankfully I can hold my own. Different kids come each week. But almost every week there are a ton of curious questions after the story because most of them have never heard Bible stories before. Some of the questions I've recieved are, "What happens when…

So I've come to the point where I tell people that I've lived in Berlin for 2 years. (It's way easier than saying 22 months) When I tell people, they'll look at me and go, "Oh wow! That's so long! So you're like a Berliner now, right?" One reason for that is because Berlin is full of transient people, so apparently it's a big deal to have been here 2 years. It's so strange to me when people react that way because the 2 years have gone by so fast. I knew they would. But there's a difference between looking forward to 2 years and saying, 'Oh, these years will go by fast,' and looking back and…

This has been a GREAT month. I really just feel like God is on a roll right now! (Although theologically speaking, one could argue that He is always on a roll, but you all know what I mean, right??) I have had so many opportunities to share the gospel IN GERMAN. Most of the time it's with the kids I work with, and whenever talk about Jesus, they ask so many questions. It's amazing. Amazing how much the Holy Spirit works in and through us in spite of ourselves and our flesh. While things are going really well in ministry/work, my 2 year commitment is soon coming to a close. Thinking about…

The past couple weeks have been so great. It's holiday time here in Berlin, so I've had the opportunity to travel a bit and have some much needed Jesus time. I am always just so awestruck by the fact that the same God who created the hard working ants and the majestic mountain ranges is a personal friend of mine. How is that even possible? We are called to be ambassadors for that Creator. What a blessing and honor it is to be able to serve our God. I'm so thankful.
