Ramsey-Michele - Germany Updates

Class of 2015
Immigrant Youth Outreach in Germany
Track: Compassion - Justice track
Region: Europe
I'm a people person. I am extremely passionate about music. I love every form of art. I'm a coffee addict. Rahab and Peter are a couple of my favorite people in the Bible. I'm an open book; ask me anything and I'll probably tell you. I love laughing and making people laugh. I strive to live every moment to the fullest. However, above all of this, I am absolutely in love with my Savior, Jesus Christ. God has rescued me from the domain of darkness and transferred me into the kingdom of His beloved Son. Thanks be to God! In Him I live and move and have my being!

A Pinterest Life?

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Europe

As of today, I have officially lived in Berlin, Germany for one full month. WHAT. I can't even really comprehend that. I applied to work to GoCorps last February. So I've been looking forward to this life for an entire year. So I want to write briefly on expectations.  If you have followed my blog at all, you know how much I was dying to be in Berlin. Every single blog post was about wanting to just be in Berlin already. All of that was totally genuine. If you know me at all, you've probably picked up the fact that I tend to romatinicize things a bit as well. So the combination of my… Read more >>

Wishing I Could Teleport...

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Europe

I hope you all had a good Christmas season and had fun celebrating the new year. This new year's I was celebrating from Urbana! For those of you who don't know, Urbana is a massive missions conference for college aged students who are trying to figure out how they can serve the Lord through missions. I was there with my team at a booth sharing what the Lord is doing in Berlin (as seen in picture to the left). It was a great time of fellowship and community. However, it just made me want to be in Berlin even more! I was talking about the city and about our ministry non-stop for 5 days straight… Read more >>

Dream Come True

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Europe

Only 58 more days before I move to Berlin. I really don’t think I can express how excited I am. This really is a dream come true. When I was about 7 or 8, I remember watching a Discovery Channel program that explained the theory of evolution. I went crying to my mom, grieved that so many people believed this and didn’t know the truth of our Creator. I immediately wanted to go to the ends of the earth and spread the gospel. God has been stirring the desire to bring the gospel to the unreached for years. I’m finally here! This is finally it! Obviously we can bring the gospel to people in our… Read more >>

Is This What Sanctification Feels Like?

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Europe

I am learning so much right now…I feel like a sponge. You know how sometimes in your Christian walk, you’re content and you feel semi-close to God, but you don’t really feel like you’re moving forward? You just feel like you’ve plateaued? I know that I’ve felt that way many, many times. This is an exciting time for me right now, because I don’t feel plateaued. Every day I’m growing closer to God and learning more about what He was for me. That doesn’t mean it’s easy. On the contrary, the Holy Spirit has convicted me more in the past few weeks than He has in a long time. I’ve come face to face… Read more >>

Seek His Kingdom

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Europe

Well, I’m a little late in posting this blog. I was wanting September’s blog to read that I am fully funded. However, I still can’t do that. I’m so close though! I’m about 85% funded. Which is still incredible. God’s provision is just so perfect. I’ve basically stood with my mouth wide open in awe at God for the past 4 months. For those of you who haven’t heard yet, I’m not moving to Berlin until January. There were only two of us from GoCorps joining the team in Berlin in September, and there are four more missionaries joining in January. The Berlin team thought it best for us all to come… Read more >>
