Christmas Party
A huge highlight of my December was the opportunity to visit a local refugee camp for a Christmas party. My teammates regularly visit, but it was my first time. As a conscientious person, I tend to think about unexpected ways we can serve people and trying to become aware of ineffective ways of serving. Six Weeks In
Oh look, I found my café :) I have already exceeded the longest amount of time I have ever been away from home! Every day there seems to be something huge and new. I am still in the process of setting a life pace. The hardest thing so far has been that basic things seem to take a lot of effort. Going to the post office feels like going to the DMV. In Budapest!
I am here! Today I went all over the city in a light mist of drizzle:) Thank you so much for everyone that is joining me in this season through prayer, financial support, encouragement, and for following along. I have been humbled and blown away by the care and devotion that has been committed to what God is doing in Hungary. Support Summer
This is my favorite new person in the world, my niece Eleanor! The photo was taken on my birthday; we went to one of my favorite Irish restaurant nearby and courageously took the new born along. They were so accommodating and gave us our own back room! It was a perfect day and I was so thankful we could all be together out to dinner!
