I am enjoying my first month of soaking up the culture and environment of my new home: Masatepe. Here is a few of the blessings God has provided for me since I have arrived. My host family is amazing! I live with a doctor, his wife, and their 18 year old daughter. Not only are they extremely warm and generous, but they get me; I was nicknamed ‘hambrita,’meaning little hungry one. Dayana, my host sister, speaks perfect English. So it's now 3 AM and no matter what I've tried I can't sleep. I'm supposed to leave my home in an hour to catch my flight to Nicaragua. I don't know what's keeping me awake more, the gears in my head they keep turning or the pounding in my heart. I've come a long waymto get to this point.
