Right now I am at GoWeek in Pittsburg, PA which is basically training for support fundraising to go to Nicaragua! It’s finally real, it’s finally happening. I know all the details. It’s been great getting to know everybody here, to dig deep and build relationships with the people who are also going abroad for two years. I’m not the only one crazy enough to do this. I’m looking forward to following everyone’s journey over the next couple of years. These people have already challenged me and my faith; to grow deeper in my faith and really understand what it means to me so that I can share it with other people. I am both nervous and excited about that. At the same time I know this is all part of God’s plan and I am exactly where I need to be right now. I’m so looking forward to Nicaragua. I’m excited to share this with other people too, through support raising. It’ll be good to go home because it has been awhile, but ultimately I am ready to go abroad.
