Accepting that this is LIFE...

By on Track: Teaching Region: Asia - Central

We have just arrived back to our placement after spending the past 2 and a half months in the States. Our time in the States was too good that I had to continually pr@y and ask our Father if we were taking advantage of our trip back to the States. But just as gracious as He is, He showed us how much He loves us by allowing us to experience such a great time with family, friends, and supporters.  Not only did we celebrate our first year of marriage, our first year living overseas, the birthdays of many family and friends, and got refreshed and pumped for the next year; we accepted the… Read more >>

The Month of Hope!

The HOPE for this world! Fellowship:   This is how we greeted people during our Easter Sunday! We had a powerful word remembering the hope that Chr1st brought to this world through His sacrifice and resurrection. During Easter Sunday we also had the opportunity to be a part of the "Everything" skit and were glad it went well. After our time together at the  chur.ch, we all gathered at the church office to share an Easter meal. It was a great meal and time of fellowship. After our time together with our community, we came home to prepare for… Read more >>

A Month of Celebrations!

A Month of Celebrations!   March is a month of many celebrations here. March 1st was the first day of Spring and all around here many people celebrated this day by symbolically welcoming Spring. A Month of Connections

A Month of Connections February was a short but awesome month. We have connected with our students in many different ways and are amazed to see how our Papa has been guiding us in this.  Teaching: I had the opportunity of teaching at a middle school for "gifted children" for a couple of months. My class consisted of 6 precious 7th grade girls. In the beginning of this month we talked about beauty and I used the fruits of the Sp1r1t to teach my girls real "Traits of Beauty". I guess when you teach the Truth, you hope people will grasp and understand what you tell them. During these… Read more >>

January 2014 Update

By on Track: Teaching Region: Asia - Central

The beginning of many things! F3llowship: We have been enjoying the time spent together with the like minded people from our community. They have been a source of encouragement and fun for us. This month we decided to invite them after our meeting to come to our apartment and spend the afternoon together. It was a lovely time filled with food, laughter and games. Experiencing the culture  The director of our school invited us to taste a traditional meal called "Bishbarmak". This dish is consisted of a wide flat pasta, potatoes, onions and horse meat. That's right friends, horse meat… Read more >>
