Thanksgiving

By on Track: Teaching Region: Asia - Central

This month presented us with lots of opportunities to be thankful. To start off, this past month I injured my chest muscle in the gym. It was a pretty serious tear and the doctors told me I would be out for at least 6 to 8 weeks. This kind of news is not the best type of news to receive, especially when I find it very difficult to sit still. But as G0d tends to redeem all situations, this seemed like the perfect time to get my attention on a deeper and more intimate level. A part from daily devotionals and times in His presence, this time off was just the perfect time to sit, dream, and… Read more >>

A Crazy Month

By on Track: Teaching Region: Asia - Central

Dear family and friends, It has been a crazy month and we want to be real with you. October sent us on a whirlwind on all levels. It all started with going through culture shock. In the beginning of the month we experience a whole different level of the culture that we have not experienced before. As we got more involved with our Language Center with different projects, we saw a different side of the culture that frustrated us. We knew their would be cultural differences but this time it just hit us a little harder than usual. During the same week, we received the news that family members… Read more >>

New Beginnings

By on Track: Teaching Region: Asia - Central

School:   September was full of awesome beginnings. To start off, we gave a speech for the first day of classes at the neighboring school of our language center. After welcoming all the parents, students, and staff from that school, we welcomed our own students to their first day of our classes on September 8th. We have 3 eager groups that will be with us for this semester. We are three weeks into teaching and already confident that we are going to enjoy these students. Last year served as a great foundation as to what students need here. We have made adjustments to our lessons and… Read more >>

Bye Bye America

This summer in the US was incredible! After spending the majority of our time in sunny California, we visited family in Boston. My sister and brother-in-law work as P@stors at a local Salv@tion Army Ch.rch. It was a huge bl3ssing to be with her family but with our parents as well! It was great to be without any agenda with the ones we love the most. Our time in Boston was extra special due to a new baby's arrival. She adds more joy to our family and has captivated our entire hearts already! We feel honored and are bl3ssed by this little bundle of joy and can't wait to see her grow to be… Read more >>

June and July Newsletters

By on Track: Teaching Region: Asia - Central

June Newsletter This month we visited one of the most incredible supporters that we have, the preschool kids from Vista Christi@n preschool. As we walked in the playground of the school, we were welcomed by little 3-5 year old kids yelling, "Thats them! Hi! We have a picture of you in our classroom, we pr@y for you!" It melted our hearts. We spent some time with them, shared about our work and answered some questions they had. These precious kids are impacting us all the way across the world through their pure hearts and pr@yers. Our pr@yer is that they will continue to grow in His ways and… Read more >>
