June Newsletter

This month we visited one of the most incredible supporters that we have, the preschool kids from Vista Christi@n preschool. As we walked in the playground of the school, we were welcomed by little 3-5 year old kids yelling, "Thats them! Hi! We have a picture of you in our classroom, we pr@y for you!" It melted our hearts. We spent some time with them, shared about our work and answered some questions they had. These precious kids are impacting us all the way across the world through their pure hearts and pr@yers. Our pr@yer is that they will continue to grow in His ways and never part from it.

We have been enjoying time with my family and without a doubt the best part is seeing my nephew Noah. He is a smart and happy baby who just turned 1! He was a month old when we left and getting to know him in person is much better than through the internet.

We are also making sure we refresh our bodies. Apart from just delicious food ;) we are also making sure we are refreshing ourselves physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We have been receiving words of wisdom and encouragement from people we love and enjoying family and friends. Spending time with Him as we walk through the beach or look at His nature has definitely brought freshness to our hearts and souls.

We ask Him to continue to refresh your souls and bring people to encourage you during this summer as He is doing to ours.

July Newsletter

On August 25th, we were invited to speak at a chapel service at Azusa Pacific University. The topic was about "What if" G0d called you to do something or wanted you to continue to be faithful despite hardships. Both of us had the opportunity of sharing our experiences with a group of about 20 senior high school students from Brazil (main picture). It was a special time as we talked about how our Father lead us to our placement and how He has been taking care of us simply because we chose to say yes to Him. We shared about the story of Moses and Joseph and how they both saw G0d do many things that seemed impossible because they chose to say yes and remain faithful to Him. We challenged the students by asking them what would they do if our Father called them to do something or to remain faithful during the hard times. After chapel one of the girls came to us and shared how our Papa had called her to do full time m1n1stry and how a lot of unknowns were starting to worry her. We were able to pr@y for her and encourage her to continue to seek Him through this new journey and watch how things will naturally fall into place because G0d loves and cares for her.

It was an encouraging time for us and as we challenged them we want to do the same with you today: What if G0d calls you today to do something big for Him? What if He wants you to be faithful during your hardships? What if He wants you to use the passions and dreams He has placed in your heart to serve Him? What if He has been asking you to do something for Him and you have ignored it for a while, will you do it? All we can say is that our G0d is a good G0d and just as He made His promise in Deuteronomy 31:6 to His children He promises us the same today "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the L0rd your G0d goes with you, He will never leave you nor forsake you."
