Hello! I am a college graduate teaching English and Math in North Africa. Through these blogs my hope is that you are able to see how unqualified I am, but just how good and qualified the Lord is.
I have been in-country for over a month now and as I sit and reflect on my time here so far, I thought I would share a bit of what I am learning and what might be helpful to others. Some people may look at me and wonder why the heck I would be the one called to go serve overseas. Others may read my story on paper and think there couldn’t be anyone less qualified for such a role. Not gonna lie, I have definitely thought those things about myself. Forget the family struggles, why would Jesus want to use an insecure, unqualified, and sinful girl like myself to go tell people about Him? One Month Left To Go..
In 29 days I will land in the country I have committed to for the next two years. WHAT?! That is wild. As I am sure you can imagine, there are countless thoughts and emotions swirling inside of me. So much excitement, a little anxiety, questions of what's to come, and figuring out what to pack for a life overseas for two years is quite a lot. I am in the middle of a season where I have never been so unsure, yet so confident, all at once.

If you are a partner of mine, or a potential Goer, then you know the first part of this ministry is support raising. When deciding whether or not I wanted to pursue this two year commitment to ministry, the biggest obstacle for me was looking past this season. Support raising is something that truly intimidated me and was often the first sign of a lack in my faith.
