"My identity is in Christ..." "My identity is in Christ..." "My identity is in Christ..." I have to keep telling myself this whenever I don't think it is Is it possible for a 22 years old to go through an identity crisis? I heard of a mid-life crisis, but I am not at that point in my life. I want to answer by saying no, but in some cases it can happen...right? I feel like I am losing myself. I only been on this earth for 22 years, but it seems like forever. I am constantly reminded of the things I should be doing or need to do because that is how the world goes. Is there a secret code that... Read more
The Special Day

Ever since I was little, I always dreamt about what my wedding would look like. There were so many decisions I had to consider. Like, whether it was going to be big or small? Or which season would be perfect for it, summer, spring, or fall? Or the most important question, what colors are going to be in my wedding? On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Here’s the truth… I do not love my neighbors well. I base my love on how someone else... Read more

Just a few days ago, I reached my goal of losing 100 pounds. It took 11 months for me to be consistent with my eating habits, exercising, and drinking plenty of water. Some people believe that they can lose weight in a week or two, but that is not the reality of it. Losing weight is a task that takes patience, effort, and encouragement. I remember the first day that I started this journey, I wanted to absolutely quit. My roommates were eating the foods that I was craving and all I ate were vegetables. At that point, I thought I was going to die or starve. Thankfully, God helped me develop a... Read more

Well, it is the end of week 5 of support raising! Yay! *I hope you hear the enthusiasm in my voice* Honestly, it is cutting really close to my launch date. February sounds far, but it is literally right around the corner. And you know what? That scares the crap out of me. Now, I have the urge to try to get appointments set up, to do follow ups, make more phone calls, and to make sure I have my support. There is a lot pressure happening right now and I don’t think I can contain it. But, surprisingly, things have not been rushed. I am getting appointments made, follow ups are doing good, and...
