God’s ways and His thoughts are greater than mine; I know this. The biggest lesson God has been teaching me these past couple of months is to consistently accept and be joyful in the truth that He alone determines my steps, and not me or anyone else. A wave of brokenness flooded the month of July and I am behind on support raising. Dear family and friends opened their hearts to share their brokenness and sins, some were exposed, and I was on the receiving end. My heart ached not with anger and disappointment, but because I am a limited human being who falls short of helping everyone (and myself) carry their burdens. It's been 9 years now since the day I became a follower of Jesus and 3 years since I received the missionary call.
