God’s ways and His thoughts are greater than mine; I know this. The biggest lesson God has been teaching me these past couple of months is to consistently accept and be joyful in the truth that He alone determines my steps, and not me or anyone else. I was not able to raise the minimum that I needed for me to get to CIT (Center for Intercultural Training) in October, and to launch to Thailand in December; because of this, my time was extended. It was hard at first for me to accept that I will have to be here a little longer; that’s because I have been waiting to go ever since I came back from studying in Bangkok in 2015. Yet again, God’s grace reminds me to wait on Him. It is okay that I didn’t meet my goal within my first deadline. My life should be lived by the timing of the Lord and not anyone else’s. I don’t disregard planning well because I believe in that, but I truly believe that “the heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9). Here’s to another three months to support raising! Let the LORD who is greater than me receive all the honor and glory!!!
