”What Does God Think About You?”
I have been asked this question twice in the last week and both times I was stumped for an answer. What does God think about me? In the moment I felt a little weird for not knowing, I mean, this is supposed to be elementary knowledge as a Christian, isn’t it? Those who know me well know that I am completely and totally my own worst critic. I often push myself into a cycle of setting high standards, missing the mark, and then spiraling into a state of self-shame until I finally remember that I am human and that it’s OK not to be perfect.

As I sit here writing my very first blog as a “goer”, I can’t help but feel completely excited to jump into my support raising campaign. If I could ask myself a year ago how I felt about fundraising, my response would probably come out sounding like an exhausted sigh, an obvious sign of burnout and disappointment.
