My letter to future Goers
I thought that I was done with studying. I was ready to put the books aside and just go. After all I am more of a learn on the job kind of person. I headed overseas ready for this 2 year adventure to begin. I won't have to worry about grades or assignments anymore. Wow, was I sadly mistaken. Actually let me rephrase that. I was gladly mistaken. I was so tired of sitting in class and trainings. I just wanted to be on the field. The War Still Rages
How has your year been shaping up so far? Be honest…I will be. This year has started off rather turbulent. I hopped on the plane so excited, we are 2 hours into the flight and I am grasping my arm rests trying not to allow my emotions to unfold. Sojourner is defined as someone who resides temporarily in one place. The Bible often refers to them as strangers. I looked at the template of worldly comfort and… Read more >>
You Can Find Purpose in the Morning Without Coffee?
What Is My Purpose? Do you see the man in the above picture? I wonder if he questioned the same thing. What is my purpose? I'd like to be honest. This has been the question on my mind lately. I heard God's calling and hopped on a plane to head to Berlin. Now I am sitting here in an IKEA (because of the free WIFI) asking this very question. It isn't that I regret coming or wish that I wasn't here but rather a question that I think we should all ask consistently throughout our lives. I think we should ask ourselves because of the reminder that we wake up everyday with a purpose. I get up early… Read more >>
