I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I just graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in August 2015 with a degree in art. I'm excited to be serving in Germany and being able to use my gifts to be able to serve, build relationships and learn about the people and the culture.

Be Still

By on Track: Media - Communications Region: Europe

It’s difficult when I hear wait. Sometimes I’m ok with waiting especially if I don’t want to do something or if I need something to help me finish that job (information, an item or help from someone else). Then there are times when I want something so badly, I have my heart set on it and I’m excited to get started and I’m told to wait. Those times are when I feel like a child again. I want to say “But why? I want it now! …. I can’t wait.” It can be frustrating, and what I’ve noticed more and more often is that we either as humans, people of the 21st century or both have a hard time waiting,… Read more >>

Being Thankful When Worry Tells You Not to

By on Track: Media - Communications Region: Europe

I am thankful for me family and friends. They are loving, supportive and are glad to see me go where God has called me.  I am thankful for God’s provision. He has brought me to almost 50% and provided people over in Germany who I will have contact with.  I am thankful for my team and my coaches. God has picked a very special group of ladies to go to Berlin in January and I’m blessed, excited to be able to serve with them and get to know them better and see how God is shaping us in our ministry. I’m thankful for the coaches whom God has provided to be able to prepare us for the… Read more >>

Finding Peace in God's Timing

By on Track: Media - Communications Region: Europe

In this world of right here, right now, God’s timing is a breath of fresh air. We’ve grown up in an era where waiting is considered lazy, and where time is money. We get anxious when things aren’t happening right away. When we’re texting someone and they don’t write back or when we try out for a team or apply for a job and don’t hear back we become anxious, worried and nothing will pacify our nerves. God does not work in human time or in the human way.  “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the… Read more >>

God's Way, God's Timing, God's Plan

By on Track: Media - Communications Region: Europe

It’s difficult, remembering who is in control. We like to have control of our lives, our plans, and our time. When things aren’t in our control it is difficult to remember to turn to the One who knows all. We are part of His plan but He doesn’t need us, He chooses to use us and we respond. I’m continually being reminded that I’m His child. Children always ask “Why? When? How?” or many questions related to those. I look back and hear myself asking the same from God. Many times I am reminded who’s in control and who’s plan it is. As I sit and ponder God’s plan many Bible stories begin to… Read more >>

Breathe Again

By on Track: Media - Communications Region: Europe

I am continually being reminded who this is for and for what purpose I am doing this. Like any normal human there is a blank left, my name fills the space by default. Somewhere subconsciously in the recesses of my mind this journey is about me. After a while it is easy to let that habit take root and become the reason, become the helm of this journey. With me at the forefront God takes the backseat. I can't stear this ship, I don't know where I'm going or what tomorrow will bring, only God, the captain can stear this ship and get to shore safely. He knows the docks, the oceans, the wind, the… Read more >>
