My letter to future Goers
Hey future goers! Well, my two year commitment is complete, and boy am I ready to be done!... Just kidding of course :) It's unbelievable that two years has come and gone already. My time overseas has truly been the most personally impactful, and outwardly fruitful season of my life. I'd love to share some takeaways from the experience, foresight I wish I could've had going into my stint, and hopefully provide some encouragement to future goers. Over the past couple months I’ve experienced the refugee plight in a more significant way than ever before. I know my experience has been just a taste of what it means to be an outcast without much hope of a future in this world, but even a taste has been impactful. It has also served to bring truths of scripture to life in a whole new way. I’d like to specifically highlight one of these stories.
