GoCorps and UMHB

Since 2009, GoCorps has been placing 20-somethings globally for two years of impactful gospel service. Many of these young people didn’t previously see themselves as part of the missionary landscape—until GoCorps helped them put their degrees and passions to strategic use. Now recent graduates are rising to the opportunity of investing two years of their career in ways that change their own lives and the lives of those not yet reached with the gospel.

What UMHB Alumni Have to Say About GoCorps

I love that GoCorps really walks alongside you throughout the process. Growing up in a not generationally Christian family, myself and my parents really had no idea how to get into Mission work, how you could make a living, how it worked, or if it was possible. GoCorps provided someone to walk alongside me through every step, and made the process more fun and young adult friendly than some other organizations. I enjoyed that I felt personally known and helped throughout the process. Abby met me and coached me one on one, our whole class met in Minnesota, bonded, got training, and then had cohorts to encourage each other throughout the support raising, and keep in touch to share advice, celebrate, and commiserate together. I loved the Support Raising training especially, because it showed me step by step how to achieve this goal I really wanted, but beforehand, didn't know how to get there. It was so empowering, and I'm so thankful to GoCorps for all of their help, but especially in building community and training.
