GoWeek ‘25

On Sunday (May 25), we welcomed 11 Goers and 1 new staff to GoWeek 1! All week, our Goers are learning about fundraising, what it’s like to serve in their specific locations, and foundational truths, scriptures and postures for serving effectively and persevering cross-culturally. In the midst of all the important stuff they are learning, there’s a lot of fun as our staff and the Goers all get to know each other. On Friday evening we held a commissioning service, and then on Saturday they flew home and to begin their fundraising!

Let's unite our hearts in praying for these men and women!
 

• Pray that the GoWeek training sessions, spiritual formation activities, times of worship and fellowship, and moments of devotion and silence will help important truths go from head to heart.
• Pray for the physical and mental energy to engage fully in all that the Lord has for them during the week, and pray that no attacks of the enemy will prevail against them.
• Pray that the Goers would let go of the fears and concerns that may be weighing them down as they prepare to launch into their new season of fundraising.
• Pray that they will experience God in new and deeper ways and that they will develop relationships with each other and the GoCorps staff that God will use for strengthening, encouragement, and equipping over their next few years.

Fun Fact:  They’ll be going to 9 countries including: Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Thailand, USA (Arkansas), Central & East Asia, and the Middle East
