A Refuge for the Refugee
Several months ago, before I left for the field, I had a very specific chapter of the Bible in mind for the work God was calling me to. I used Psalms 46 to help me pray. I encourage you to do the same along with me as I re-enter the field, or use it for yourself however you would like. Or even use this to pray for peoples and countries all over the world. Birthdays and Bible Studies
Since I’ve been back in the states, I’ve been able to spend a lot of extra time with family. My youngest sister and I are very close, so we’ve been doing lots of things together. She even helps me with language study by holding up flash cards and watching cartoons in my target language with me. Privilege
If you read my previous post, you’ll see me processing how difficult it was to wait for resident permit results in the Middle East, and how I was learning more about trusting God during that time. Inhale, Exhale
A friend sent me this quote pictured above at a perfect time. At the time she sent this, I was becoming anxious waiting for resident permit results from my country of service. My roommates had just received negative results and had ten days to leave the country. Naturally, I was anticipating negative results too.
