Dear Future Goer,
As I was deciding on being a Goer to Innsbruck, Austria, I wrestled with many questions and the “costs”, which the two year commitment would require of me – one particular cost would be to move away from my family (with whom I am very close) and friends, who know me, get me, love me and whom I love very much.

Life has definitely looked completely different than I expected that February morning in early 2020, when I first stepped sleep-deprived onto Austrian soil. Two years full of challenges that I anticipated, many more that I didn’t, as well as so many cool opportunities and God-divined unexpected meetings have happened.
Over the last year, I’ve been reflecting on how a pandemic affected ministry and specifically ministry in Innsbruck. Despite lockdowns and restrictions, there has been so much creativity to make ministry still happen, but a lot of programs also stopped during this time.

This process of support raising has been such a crazy and amazing adventure. Little did I realize just how much of a wild ride it would be - a roller coaster of emotions. It has been so incredibly good and stretching in my life already and it is only half-way over. One big way that it has been stretching me is spiritually as God has been teaching me what this new season entails.
