Doing the Dirty Work
A few weekends ago we had a retreat with our local (nationwide) partners in ministry, SEPAL España. We studied the Word together, learned how to be more effective in the teamwork environment, prayed together for each other's ministries, sang songs together and relaxed by the beach (albeit in brief spurts). For me this was in important time not of rest, but of work. Formation and training to be effective in ministry for the rest of my life. The Mind of Christ
How to even recap one of the most incredible trips of my life. I just spent the last two weeks in Switzerland learning about Jesus and serving refugees. I attended CIMA Schweiz 2018 in Walzenhausen, Switzerland, a conference that focused on the theme of “Jesus is Mission.” While that may sound like a huge theme to cover, let me just assure you…it was! Bonding and Reflecting
What an incredible, jam-packed, and inspiring last few weeks. Since I posted last, a lot has happened in terms of my integration with the ministry out of my church and in terms of finally serving in a capacity with some responsibility. I have the privledge of meeting with this group of amazing, passionate missionaries every week to pray, sing songs together, and study the word of God. This week I got to be in my element again, and for the first time in Spain. I had the honor of leading the worship for our weekly meeting. This was a HUGE milestone for me because it was all in Spanish. Today we got to take some time to focus on the love and acceptance that we have in the person of Jesus.
