So you’re thinking about going overseas… You might feel like there are a million reasons to say no. Going requires sacrifice, leaving things behind. When God meets you in the darkness
Hello all! This is a re-post from my newsletter from this past month, so if you recieve my newsletters, go ahead and skip this blog ;) I've been in Berlin for almost 5 months now! It's been a crazy time of learning and growing and being humbled and stretched by the Lord! Giving up the plan
I've always been a very sentimental, "I must keep this just in case I need it someday" kind of person (aka kind of a pack-rat but that's okay). So, naturally, there is a huge container of all of my past journals underneath my bed dating all the way back to '98. Something *slightly* weird that I like to do every once in a while is read through them. It is really cool to read my small-child thoughts and read prayers that I wrote in high school and college. Preparation
God has been preparing me for this time in Germany for a long time. There are probably things you could point at from even my childhood that point toward what I am about to do. More obvious probaby is how He has prepared me in the last year and a half; even more obviously in the last 4 months.
