Region: Asia - East
Hello. It's me. I'm in Asia dreaming about how much warmer I could be, in California, and pollution free....(if you are not singing this in your head in such a way as to make Adele proud, you are probably doing it wrong)
nice to meet you, kind of. Farrah is not my real name, but this is fun because it feels like we are secret agents. I hope you enjoy getting a little taste of what life is like for my team and I here in Asia. comments are so welcome! I would love to hear from you.
peace and blessings.

My Letter to Future Goers
Posted on February 6, 2019
Dear future goer, You must have a million thoughts running wild in your head about what life overseas will look like, how different it will be, and how much your life is about to change. I'm sure you have beautiful ideas of how you will impact many people with the Gospel, and be an invaluable asset to your team. You ARE a valuable asset to your team. The Gospel WILL change your environment, and you'll get to be a part of it. Your life IS about to be incredibly different. But most likely, none of these things will go quite as you expect. If I can impart just two nuggets of truth that were... Read more

"Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim." My team is asked quite often, "what do you do while you're in the mountains?" To be quite honest, I think the answer to this question became even clearer to me this past trip. We drive from village to village, singing and lifting up the people who live in the houses that we pass by. The weather here is turning from winter to... Read more
The King of Open Doors
Posted on February 8, 2017
This past year could be described as a year full of doors. A couple doors that I really wanted to walk through closed, and some doors that I could not have even dreamed up opened. Some of my favorite stories from this year are about the doors that look shut at first, but Father surprises me by opening them in a way that glorifies Him. I certainly did not think I would be moving to this country, there were moments when I wondered if support would come through in time, and continual trusting Him as I walk into the unknowns of starting a new life overseas. One of the most profound, and literal,... Read more
The GoWeek Poem

Fingers flying and typing tirelessly as goers decide what to share. The hope is to communicate eloquently the placement chosen with great care. 26 goers all in all traveling to countries near and far. Learning team building techniques, and singing songs on guitar. Praying, calling, partnering oh my! Team building is no simple task. But throughout this entire journey, it is prayer and support in ALL areas that we ask. Each recent graduate brings gifts and abilities to their team. But each goal is the same: To make God’s light beam. So as we go forth, please join with us in prayer. For... Read more
