Patience for God's Plan

It is only a month into the spring semester here and there have already been so many surprises and changes! Our new teammate Katie arrived in the middle of January from Minnesota and she will be staying for 11 months. She is already settling into life in Budapest well, with a few bumps along the way such as losing her metro pass and getting her phone stolen! I am excited to see her already building relationships however and having a great attitude about everything. Beginning a New Semester

So I apologize for not having blogged in awhile!  I have had a crazy but wonderful Christmas season from celebrating with my English clubs in Budapest, to visiting the team in Berlin, to spending Christmas with a family in south Germany to celebrating New Year’s in the mountains in Norway (you can check out pictures on my Facebook)! Leaning to Love Well

After a busy week of language school, English Club and life I was really looking forward to this weekend. Doing lots of Learning

So I haven’t posted for a few weeks and a lot is happening here in Budapest.  I am starting to fill my schedule, which makes me happy because I feel that I am contributing more and building more relationships, but I also feel like I am having to start choosing where I should invest my time. There are so many opportunities and things to do around the city and so many people to meet.  I am also back in language school now, which although it only meets for 3.5 hours a day, is a lot of work and often exhausting.  I am super happy to be there though because my vocabulary is growing… Read more >>
