RSVP for 'Use Your Degree Overseas Dinner'

Friday, February 20, 5:30-7:00 pm - Coray Gym

What if your degree has a secret menu option?  One they forgot to tell you about—where instead of defaulting to cubicles and coffee addictions, you use your major overseas to do real work that meets the world’s greatest needs? 🌍 The MIF Use Your Degree Dinner is sponsored by GoCorps and will pull back the curtain on the off-menu path where you tithe your career, trade comfort for calling, and discover that using your degree globally isn’t a detour—it’s the launchpad you didn’t know you could order.

MEET WITH PAUL

Sign up for a 30-minute time slot to talk with GoCorps Director and Wheaton alum Paul Van Der Werf ('93). You bring your story, and he'll buy the coffee! Open to any student, no matter what your year or major is. If you’re interested in living overseas or just want to talk with someone about how you can use your passions to make a difference, definitely reach out to Paul to set up a time to meet up by clicking the button below.

GoCorps and Wheaton

Since 2009, GoCorps has been placing 20-somethings globally for two years of impactful gospel service. Many of these young people didn’t previously see themselves as part of the missionary landscape—until GoCorps helped them put their degrees and passions to strategic use. Now recent graduates are rising to the opportunity of investing two years of their career in ways that change their own lives and the lives of those not yet reached with the gospel.

Wheaton TYC Global Cohort

Upperclassmen Only! Check out the Wheaton Tithe Your Career Global Cohort!  Facilitated by WCF and GoCorps, this is for students who are interested in using their degree and living on mission as their first step after Wheaton.  Cohort begins January 2026.  Registration for the Winter/Spring 2026 Cohort is now closed.

What Wheaton Alumni have to say about GoCorps

GoCorps is unique in the way that it streamlines the ministry application process: instead of choosing a mission organization and seeing how it fits you, you begin with your skills/strengths and discover where you can help fill a pre-existing need. There is no need to fill out individual ministry-specific application forms. I found this to be a revolutionary way of placing and cutting the waiting time significantly. ----- 2 years may seem like a lot of time and a daunting prospect, but they go by like a blink of an eye. It is an investment in the future - your own and most importantly the Kingdom's.
