Last month, I celebrated 6 months in Ecuador! My team and my family here have told me it feels like I’ve been here for years, not months. That’s a huge compliment that means a lot to me. Recently, I’ve had more opportunities to meet with new friends! What an answer to prayer! Game nights, house visits, picnics, coffee dates, and birthdays filled my summer. Luckily, more relational time meant more open doors to talk about Jesus. My teacher and friend, M, and I often get into spiritual and religious topics, comparing cultures and whatnot, but she generally believes we basically believe the same thing.
