Hey everyone!
This is an introduction to my blog as I begin this new adventure Overseas.
My name is Zach, and I will be serving in Eastern Europe. I am beginning the process of support raising before I leave in February. I am getting ready to leave Go Week and I am very grateful for the training that Go Corps has provided. I am feeling more confident and prepared for this next season than I would have expected prior to this week as I begin support raising.
A little bit of back story for how I got to this Point. I graduated in 2023 and was involved in a missions’ training/discernment program for a year but was not able to join a team immediately. I spent a year growing in my faith and seeking God wondering what was next in life. I wanted to live my life doing meaningful work. May 2025, I learned about Go Corps and how they help young adults in their 20s tithe the first 2 years of Career. Go Corps acts as a guide to help connect them with organizations and opportunities where they can use their degree for the kingdom. This was such an encouragement for me since I had been struggling with the feeling that I was not qualified or did not have relevant skills for missions. They connected me with an awesome team where I can use the degree, and skills God has given me for the kingdom, so I can serve on the field. Fast forward a few months and here I am preparing to support raise before heading to the field!
This is the beginning of an amazing adventure, and I will share more about it in the future!
