Preparing for Planting
Dearest reader, I'd love to share something that the Lord has placed on my heart recently. Overseas ministry can sometimes feel...slow. The first month I joined the team, we toured to several different countries, performing and doing ministry almost every day. It was a rich time filled with the movement of the Holy Spirit, and we saw many people make professions of faith and express interest in learning more about Jesus. Star Gazing
This isn’t my first experience overseas. When I was four years old, my family moved to Japan for two years. One of my favorite stories my mom tells is about the day we moved to Japan. Door to door, the move took about 24 hours. By the time my mom got to the doorstep of our new house in Japan, she was exhausted and overwhelmed by the all the new and different things. Hello Reader! Two weeks ago, I boarded my plane and set out to the mission field! I met my team in Germany, where we are staying for two weeks before we head to our main country. The first few days I was here, my team hosted a Christian arts conference. The goal of the conference was to encourage and train Christian artists in Europe to use their art for evangelism.
