What a summer this has been. Maybe it's the imminense of my soon to be two year absense or maybe its just that I have taken the time to truly be present in my surroundings. My last blog post was written at the start of my fundraising season. I now write this nearing the end. Thinking back to Go Week, and all the training we recieved I knew I would be here one day. Nearly finished, preparing to up and move to Mexico. But I had no idea what the time inbetween would look like. No, I didn’t get 2 Corinthians 5:7 tattooed on my foot this month. That was the first thing that came to mind when I chose this title. Still, June has no doubt been a series of small steps in faithfulness. What have I been up to? Appointments fo dayzzz. Support raising appointments to be specific. This is post Go Week so I guess that technically means I am “trained” (yikes). Still very much winging it (Sorry Katy). Whelp, first blog. Not sure who decided it was a good idea to ask me for a stream of consciousness but, here we go.
*flash backs a few years* It all started one random night in downtown Houston. I was catching up with an old friend before a night on the town. She was telling me about the crazy opportunity she was walking into by taking a new job in Germany.
