Some of my favorite things include traveling, photography, ceramics, music, sushi or really just food in general, and people. I hope to one day say I can cook and have written a book. I love exploring and trying to get lost. Last but not least, I desire to live my all for Christ and love Him with every part of me.

Everyday Life

So I’ve been here for 6 weeks! My Monday through Friday consists of 5-7 hours of Spanish classes at UNAM and the rest of my time is filled with sleeping, eating lots of delicious food, working out, and developing friendships/ministry opportunities. I’m finding these Spanish classes are taking up most of my energy. The First Weeks in Mexico City

I arrived in Mexico City on Monday, October 12th. I've been here 8 days, which isn't long at all, but it strangely feels like a month. The very first night I had the pleasure in joining my team leader, Joshua Smith and his wife Naomi, on a taco outing to meet some of their friends. As we entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a hug and kiss on the right side of my cheek by 4 other people we were meeting. The Unexpected

Wow. I can't believe that I will be heading to Mexico in four months! It always amazes me how I think and plan out what my future will look like, and God completely showing me that he has better and far greater plans for me than I ever expected. I never pictured myself doing ministry in Mexico City for two years right after graduation. I never thought that God would use me to minister to Spanish speaking people.
