I grew up in Keyport, New Jersey volunteering and working at a living history site called Longstreet Farm, but I spent the last 6 months living in Scotts, Michigan interning with Tillers International. I love farming and working especially with oxen.
Trusting in God’s provision.
I realized the other day at my two week mark of living in Malawi, how much I have struggled to really trust in God’s provision. It was easy for me to begin trusting in his provision, but as soon as His timing was not my timing, I would start to stress out. And worrying is not trusting (be anxious for nothing).
This was a repeated pattern for me. I worried about funds coming, I worried about having a car to use while in the States, I worried about my Visa arriving in time, I worried about securing a plane ticket.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?”

A few days ago, my mother got an advertisement in the mail from a bank that said, "My checks take selfies!" This was just a really cheesy way of saying that, with this bank, you can just take pictures of your checks and send them in to deposit them.

I came to GoWeek in Pittsburg directly from my internship at Tillers International. After 6 months living and working on the farm, it was a small culture shock coming into the city. It was amazing to see all the people that God brought here. I saw my own story in many different forms. Young people many who were not expecting it, called to Go, and responding in faith. Someone told us that we need to call out, "Ready, FIRE!, Aim." and that is exactly what we are doing.
