February Update!

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Asia - South East

Greetings from Bangkok! I hope this update finds you all doing well. I know most of you (especially those in Michigan) are experiencing a very cold and snowy winter. While most of you probably want to give up and move to Florida, there is nothing like Bangkok's hot season where you will long for a little bit of cold crisp wind! Although we have not reached the hottest of hot season yet, we have definitely entered the sweaty, humid, and warm beginning of a very long 3-4 months.  In the midst of the warm weather, many news things are stirring up. Here's the latest … Read more >>

December & January Update!

By on Track: Compassion - Justice Region: Asia - South East

Father's Day! On December 5th, Thailand celebrated Fathers Day which is the King's Birthday. It is a day to not only honor the King of Thailand, but also all the fathers. I was blessed to honor an amazing man whom I call พ่อ (dad). Since the day Natalie and I have moved into our community, พ่อ was our protector, loved us, and took good care of us. But for two days now God has been speaking and reminding me of the power of forgiveness in my own life. Actually, my walk with the Lord began after I… Read more >>

Happy Thanksgiving! May the Lord shower His glory and love over all of you during this beautiful season of celebration and thankfulness. I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. — Psalm 7:17 Although you my friends may be experiencing colder weather and even snow, Bangkok is still hot! I have really come to realize that when Thai's say we are going into cold season, well that just means the weather gets into the high 70s during the evenings....I still sweat!! I feel as though these months are flying by with the… Read more >>

Highlights Of October: Youth Leadership Development:ค่ายผู้นำล้ำวินัย - Lead by Example Youth Camp This past week, I had the privilege of joining a youth leadership development camp with the Thai Peace Foundation. Due to my location, I do not have much interaction with the YLD (Youth Leadership Development) program with my organization but for this camp, Natalie, our youth that we have poured into this past year and I were invited to join in! It was categorized as an "Adventure Camp" which meant, extreme team building activities and learning. We had a total of 25 youth, so… Read more >>
