General Update  Greetings friends, For those of you who have not heard the news yet, Thailand's 12th military coup is underway. The past seven months of protesting first turned into martial law, and has now become a full coup. A nationwide curfew has been issued from 12pm-5am and we are avoiding areas that could potentially be dangerous. There have been rumors of civil war, but so far nothing exceptionally violent has occurred. As of now nothing major has changed in our day to day routines. Hi friends, I don't know about you, but February flew by for me! Thai language school picked up fast and daily becomes more intense. It has been a challenge to manage my time well, but daily I'm learning. This month has been a little rough emotionally and physically, but God is strengthening my character through it all. I'm learning to set boundaries, how to communicate honestly, and how to take care of myself. Hi Friends! This month has been a refreshing time of adventure and retreat.  It was just what I needed because within this past month I truly felt my heart change as I explored Thailand from top to bottom.  I was blessed enough to celebrate a wedding and New Years in a more rural area called Buriram.  Then family and friends in Colorado helped me get to the beaches of southern Thailand for my Christmas present.  There in Krabi I was able to meet up with a close friend who is also a missionary here in Thailand.  After a few days we flew up to Chiang Mai (northern… Read more >>
