Hi Everyone: It is definitely getting colder here. I love fall, but I sure do miss the beautiful colors of a Virginia fall. Besides cold weather, things here can be overwhelming at times. You may have heard on the news some of the things going on in the area and the horrible situation the refugees are in. Hi Everyone!! Merry Christmas season to you all! I hope you are all getting excited for Christmas! Christmas will definitely be different here, but it’s funny how many things are decorated with Christmas-y décor here despite being a predominately Muslim country. However, they are all used to celebrate the New Year, so it’s funny seeing “Happy New Year” written on the same banner with Santa. Hey Everyone! I’ve officially been here one month! Sorry for no updates before, it has been a crazy month trying to adjust to a new culture, being “a real adult”, and finding a place to live!
