Since 2009, GoCorps has been placing 20-somethings globally for two years of impactful gospel service. Many of these young people didn’t previously see themselves as part of the missionary landscape—until GoCorps helped them put their degrees and passions to strategic use. Now recent graduates are rising to the opportunity of investing two years of their career in ways that change their own lives and the lives of those not yet reached with the gospel. In the last 11 years, GoCorps has sent out over 250 young adults to serve in these least-reached places, using their passions and degrees. GoCorps partners with more than a dozen sending organizations to help students find a team and placement that is right for them. We value long-term projects that partner with local churches and ministries and team leaders that are passionate and knowledgeable about mentoring these young adults. We've sent people from over 50 majors - business, sports ministry, social work, nursing, dance, etc - to connect their major to God's mission. Our desire is to connect all majors to all nations. You can see our 115 placements spanning 13 different disciplines here.
GoCorps will be on campus for Global Emphasis Week from November 8-10
Classroom Announcements
We would love to share about GoCorps in your class. We will speak about our experiences with missions, what GoCorps does, and share specific opportunities that students may be interested in that relate to their major. You can sign up below for a 5-10 minute announcement at either the beginning or end of your class; you may choose from three of our staff members. (Please read their bios to determine who might be the best fit for your class.)
If you are interested in one of our Mobilizers to share for a longer period of time or have questions, please email [email protected]
GoCorps Mobilizers
Bri: Bri graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors in Communication Studies. Her college experience helped her see the value and joy of mission work all over the world. Shortly after graduating, she moved to the Middle East to serve pregnant refugees from various cultures. She really enjoyed using her passion for pregnancy to serve women tangibly overseas, while getting a chance to share the Gospel. Now on staff with GoCorps, she loves getting the opportunity daily to connect people’s passions to missional opportunities. She met her husband in the Middle East and they are now based out of Grand Rapids, MI. She pursues this work with GoCorps as a mobilizer and missions coach and does birth coaching on the side for women in the Grand Rapids area.
