Hi Everyone!
Happy Easter and He is Risen!!!
Ministry
This was a pretty big month for me. I am at 100% on both my monthly and one-time goal and I handed in my paperwork for my visa to the embassy in DC! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and prayed for me as I have been preparing to leave. I truly appreciate everyone’s support in this journey as I go to Eastern Europe.
I handed in all my paperwork and my application at the Embassy in DC and now I am waiting on a call from them saying that it is approved. They told me it would take roughly 25 days to process and approve it. My team told me in the past they have gotten visas back in as short as 9 days or close to 40 days, so I am hoping it is on the shorter end of that range. I am planning on leaving near the end of April depending on when the visa is approved and how the flights work out. This is the final step in the process before I depart, so I am wrapping things up here in the States and getting the last things in order to leave.
Personal
My friends did a send off party for me where we hung out for a while and then they prayed over me. It was encouraging getting to spend time with a bunch of my friends while being prayed over. I’ve had more time to rest as support raising and the visa process are wrapping up, which has been great. I’ve had fun hangout times with friends in the last few weeks and attended one last birthday party. I hope to spend more time with my friends and family in the next few weeks and leave on a positive note.
I had a cold for a few days and was busy for several weeks, so I have not been climbing as much but since I am feeling better and my cough has finally gone away (I hope) I am hoping to get back to climbing for the remaining weeks I have Stateside.
