Hey Everyone!
This has been an awesome and eventful month.
Ministry
My visa paperwork arrived in country and has been making its way through the translation agency and the government agencies for approval. The directorate of religion notified my team leader that they wanted a few more documents for my visa which I got to them recently, so I am hoping that it doesn’t delay the visa process much more (preferably not at all). All the visa paperwork is out of my hands at the moment until it finishes making its way through the government agencies.
I’m currently at 85.8% of my monthly support goal and just $555/month away from being fully funded for Bulgaria. I know God is faithful to provide and open a door for the rest of the funding. Thank you to everyone for being part of this with me — I truly couldn’t do this without you.
Personal
I have gotten to spend a lot of time with my parents since they moved to the city where I live and it has been sweet getting to grow our relationship in this time as I am preparing for Eastern Europe. We often go the farmers market on Saturday’s which has been a fun rhythm to do with my mom over the last few weeks. I have also gotten to spend more time with my grandpa since he lives with my parents and is nearly 90 yrs old. It has been nice getting to spend a lot of time with him and hear stories from his life and walk with God. I got to attend a play at the nearby university with him near the end of the month and see my younger sister perform with her sorority in it which was a lot of fun.
I went to the climbing competition and got to watch my friend compete, but I wasn’t able to which was sad. I am still climbing at my local gym though and hopefully I will get to compete in a competition one day.
I got to attend one last wedding for close friend and it was sweet getting to be there. He and his wife are amazing and I hope to spend more time with them before I leave. I don’t have any other close guy friends that are engaged so this should be my last wedding for a while, unless someone decides to pull a ring by spring in the next month.
