Ministry/Support Raising Update
I am at just over 63% of my monthly support goal. I got to meet with family members and God opened the door for me to speak about my support raising at several adult Sunday school classes at my childhood church over Thanksgiving week. God has continued to open up doors for me to meet with people both here in Waco and across Texas. Even when it seems like I might not have anyone else to meet with God continues to open doors by providing meetings and funding. It has been a good reminder of God's faithfulness. He has called me to do the work in Bulgaria and he is faithful to provide everything I need to do the work.
Personal Update
I got to watch two more of the guys in my life group get married back to back weekends in early November to their now wives and it was sweet getting to see them move on to the next season of their lives as married men. Later in the month I drove down to the coast and saw my older sister with her kids for several days prior to Thanksgiving. We got to see a movie, go bowling and play arcade games which was a lot of fun with my niece and nephew. It was nice getting to see family members I have not seen in several months and catch up with them at Thanksgiving lunch. All in all this month was packed with a lot of events and I got to see a lot of people I love which was quite a blessing.
Lately I have been reading through 2 Chronicles and it has been very insightful. The devotional I read with it has been very helpful and I have gotten to have good conversations with God about it. He has been giving me insight to see the ways that the encouragements and warnings I see in the lives of Israel's and Judah's Kings apply to me today.
Praises
- I am just over halfway support raised!!
- I was safe traveling a lot during Thanksgiving week!
- I get to teach an old friend and his wife how to use a 3-circles sticker (a gospel sharing tool my church uses) and share the Gospel with it!
- That God is always faithful, loving and meets us with abundant grace whenever we bring our faults and mistakes to him!
