Hi! My name is Layla and I am entering into a new chapter in committing at least the next two years of my life to ministry work. I found out about CoCorps after they came to my university and I got to hear about what they do. They give the opportunity for recently graduated students to “tithe their degree” and give the first few years of their career serving the Lord overseas. I always knew I wanted to do mission work in some sort of way, and through lots of prayer, this is something I felt like God was calling me to do.
I will be living in Europe and North Africa and getting to serve alongside others in building relationships with and discipling people within Muslim culture. I am excited to see how God uses me as I step into this new season and how I grow in my relationship with Him, but also how I grow as a person. I pray that as you go through your own life, that you would be openhanded and prayerfully considering how God can use you to serve your community, where you live and work or even maybe stepping into vocational ministry.
