As I reflect on all that has transpired this month and during my entire time here in Spain I find myself feeling both tired and grateful. To be honest, I’m tired of being out of my comfort zone, I’m tired of not understanding what people say or do, and I’m tired of the Lord reminding me of my weakness. And yet, in the same breath I look at the ways the Lord has grown me, the opportunities he’s given me, and the relationships he’s blessed me with and I can’t help but be filled with gratitude. I’ve been encouraged through scriptures like Romans 5:3, “But we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” So even as I feel tired of all the challenges of serving cross-culturally, I am filled with hope knowing that the Lord is with me and will continue to be my strength and joy even when things are challenging. Seeing his faithfulness through your generosity, through friends and family, and through the work that we’re doing reminds me that he will continue to be all that I need and grow me to be who he wants me to be. So thank you for being a part of what the Lord has done, and what he is doing. Whether it’s sharing my testimony with the youth group at my church, seeing our videos do well on YouTube, or enjoying many days of filming new content, you have been a part of the work the Lord is doing in and through me here in Spain. Praise Jesus for his love that will continue to shape us and bring us to accomplish every good and perfect plan the Lord has in store for us. Pray the Lord continues to grow me to be more like him in the coming year and that as we release this new video campaign the Lord would use it to further his kingdom and encourage our brothers and sisters in closed countries. Thank you again, and grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
