As the year comes to a close this month not only do I find myself looking back on all that the Lord has been doing in the month of December but I also find myself looking back on the entire year. From starting the year as a college senior, to graduating in May, deciding to give the first two years of my career to the Lord in Global Service, and finally going through training and support raising on my way to launching in May. Looking back I could not have expected the way the Lord has lead my each and every step throughout my entire journey. I formed new relationships, strengthened old ones, and saw to Lord provide for me in countless ways. I lived in West Palm Beach, with my parents back home, and even spent two weeks in Hungary. Wherever I have been I’ve seen the Lord working to direct my each and every step, and as I look forward to the new year ahead I am filled with joy and excitement for what comes next. Whether that’s continuing to wait and pray through the visa application process, launching to the field in March, or beginning my overseas ministry, I know that this year will be just like the Last. There will be moments of joy and moments of struggle, times of hard work and times of rest, but in every season the Lord will be at work. I am filled with faith that he will continue to guide my every step, provide for every need, and show me things about himself I’ve never seen. So after a month of celebration, remembering when Christ came down, It’s because of this hope that I won’t back down. I praise the Lord for what he’s done, and for each of my ministry partners! So as I celebrate together with my friends and family, all I can say is thank you. Thank you Jesus for being with me on this journey and I pray that as the Lord continues to move in my life, his name would continue to be made great. And all so that at the end of the day I'd be able to say, "Look what the Lord has done!"
