Here is our majestic 2005 Toyota Corolla. I love it more than Sophie (my wife) does. For her it is more like a Go-Cart. Recently the Corolla has been all around Minneapolis, up the North Shore of Lake Superior, Marshfield, Wisconsin, and to Ontarior, Canada and back. She is a vital part in our lives and our means of transportation in building our support team!
Sophie and I have been in the Corolla often lately. The last month has included traveling to see over a hundred incredible people. With each of them we had the honor to share about the ministry in Peru we are so fortunate to be apart of in a few short months!
Going into support raising our attitude was that of raising money. Not fun, not something we wanted to last long. These last four weeks God has completely flipped that. We get to build a team with those we love! We get to share with them the vision God has given us and how He’s guidedour steps the last couple years! We have experienced so much joy. There is so much peace. How are we as humans able to live in complete peace and joy? Follow Jesus’ example and listen when God points you to someone or somewhere.
We have met people at a rock climbing gym, in a sauna, at some gorgeous Minnesota coffee shops, in a hottub, and in their cozy homes. We love spending this time of ministry with family, friends, and even meeting people for the first time. Let us know if you have any questions about what we are doing or if you are curious about getting involved with GoCorps!
Until Next Time,
Matt
