My name is Janeice Bellamy and I like long walks on the beach.
Just kidding, but long walks on the beach do sound nice.
I am about to take on the biggest adventure of my life by spending two years abroad with Go Corps. Now, I still do not understand what I signed up for but, the Lord has a better plan than what I can expect. For the past week, I had spent my time in Minneapolis just soaking up all the Minnesota air, and preparing my fall campaign with going into full support raising mode. Honestly, I am overthinking this whole thing, but I have other goers who are there to encourage me in this process.
The first thought of living in another country was beyond my approach. I always knew I wanted to explore other countries, but never thought about living in them. It was not comfortable. Especially trying to understand the language barriers that will happen. But, this explains God’s sense of humor because He knew that I would never go anywhere that I am not comfortable unless He says it. Welp, I am here now.
Adventure waits for me in Berlin and I cannot wait to see how God moves through this city and in me. This is going to be a testimony of going beyond ordinary and being uncomfortable. Trusting the Lord with my life and obeying His calling.
I did not know that I can feel excited yet fearful at the same time. LET'S GO!
