Greetings, everyone!
We finished our GoWeek and are feeling as equipped as ever. It has been incredible getting to know the GoCorps staff that I have been e-mailing the past few months. This experience has made everything so real.
My name is Hannah and I graduated from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul with a degree in Public Relations. My interest in missions sparked when a woman who was working in China shared about her heart for the lost. I admired her love for Jesus which flowed into her relationships with people.
Throughout college and high school I heard speaker after speaker share about how "the harvest is plentiful but the laborer’s are few." Finally, I decided, "okay, Lord. I give. I'm going." I applied for GoCorps, talked with Katy about how I wanted to work with oppressed women, and landed on a location in the Middle East. It's so surreal to see that after years of talking about this, the Lord has finally made a way for me to go out to the nations. Below is a picture of what is called the 10/40 window. This represents the people groups that have not heard the message of the Gospel and have little/no access to Christian people to share it. This is where the Lord has called me to follow Him.
I plan to leave in March and I look forward to seeing what the Lord will do over the next three years. Through it all, to Him be the Glory!
