This past weekend I was on my way to an appointment. It was about a 3 hour drive to my destination. During the drive I was stuck in traffic and amidst a thunderstorm when I received a phone call from my mom with some good news from a supporter and words of encouragement. After my mom hung up, I began to play some worship songs and "Oceans" came on. As I began to sing along while in my car, I started to become overflownn with emotion after I really listening and reflecting on the lyrics. I broke down and began to pour out my heart and soul to the Lord. I went full out in worship while still in my car. (No worries, traffic was at a complete stop, thank you Jesus I didn't get in wreck as my eyes were watering up). I was filled with an abundance of gratitude. Grateful of the Lord's continuous provision and grace. I fell down before the Lord (not literally, still driving) and was amazed by His wonder and how He stirs people's' hearts.
Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now
I am so grateful for this journey of spiritual growth during this fundraising campaign and so encouraged and touched by the people who have come alongside me during this venture. The Lord has called me out upon the waters into the great unknown and I am not alone. I trust Him in His continuousprovision and His plans for me.
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
