It has been a while since I wrote my last blog.
For the past two months, I have been really busy trying to balance support raising and my part-time job. It has been the most challenging two month of my life. When my parents told me that they will not be able to support me financially and that I have to find a job while I am doing support raising, I was heartbroken. I became really really sad because I was not expecting and not ready for this kind of challenge. I do not understand, even now, I still do not comprehend why God has to take me to this path. But one thing I believe and that I trust is that “…we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”
Additionally, support raising is still going for me. My GoCorps deadline was this month but unfortunately I am not fully funded yet. It is getting harder and harder to find people to support me. I have about a month left to be fully funded in order to leave at the end of February as schedule. If I would explained my situation to someone, they will probably say that it is impossible to be fully funded by the end of the month. But this I know is that Nothing is Impossible to God. He is always on time, He may not come when we want him to but He is always on time For the past few days, I have been reading Isaiah 40:31 everywhere especially on social media. I feel like God wanted to remind me to wait on Him and He will renew my strength despite how tired I am from working this Holiday season.
Today is Dec 30th 2016, and I cant believe that the year is over. Last year around this time I was at Urbana Mission conference where it all started for me and now I am getting ready to go on my journey with the Lord. This year has been a hard one; I had a lot of low points, disappointments, tears and everything you can think about. Even though I could probably find millions of reasons not to be thankful but I will choose to say just like King David I will blessed the Lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Last night I found the attached video and it gave me hope and encouragement and I hope it will do the same for you.
Wish you all a wonderful and blessed 2017 year.
