Hello! I'm super excited to be in Minneapolis for GoWeek! For those of you who don't know, GoWeek is training to help a Goer ask people to partner with them. My placement is partnering with United World Mission and Avance in Mexico City. I will be working as a teacher for missionary and pastor's kids at a small school. I am super excited to join with the team and meet all my students!
GoWeek is a lot of fun, but it is also exhausting. We are learning so much information. It's really good info, however it is a lot. I'm really excited to go home and sleep for about a day. All of the Goers this week are absolutely amazing! I have never met such a great group of people all at once. The amount of dedication that all of these freshly graduated young adults have is amazing and inspiring.
I wish everyone had the opportunity to come to a GoWeek and meet the Goers. It has been a great opportunity. I am definitely ready to start raising support and getting ready to go. My support has to be fully raised by August 1st so that I can be in Mexico for the beginning of the school year. That means I only have 8 weeks to raise all my support. I do believe that God will provide though, therefore I'm not worried about it. At this point I am just excited to get started, and I just want to thank you all for joining me on this journey by reading my blog or some other way of partnership. God bless you!!!
