Support Update
So, this is the final week! It feels very surreal and is extremely crazy to think about. Last week I had a lot of fun learning about languages and phonetics and have a quite a few pointers that I’m going to be able to use for French. When I get over to Africa, I’ll probably get into language learning within the first week. I’ll be using a language helper which means I’ll have to plan the lessons myself which is what this program right now is training me for. I’m definitely excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to update everyone next week when I’m in Africa!
Prayer Requests/Praises
- A big prayer request for this week is that everything regarding travel will go smoothly! From the actual flights to meeting my team members in Africa and making safely to my apartment, please pray that everything goes well.
- These last two weeks of language learning are fairly intense and it is sucking a lot of energy out of me. Please pray that I’ll be energized and physically ready to fly out on Sunday as my body will no doubt go through a lot of stress on this upcoming trip.
- Lastly, I just really want to thank everyone who prayed for the final support to come in last week because God really did provide and I am now over 100% raised which is so cool to see!
