[Week 14 Update]
Support Update
I successfully moved from my apartment in Huntington to my Aunt and Uncle’s house in Fort Wayne. My roommate and I were able to sell off all of our extra furniture and possessions before leaving which really helped the transition. It’s also always helpful when you can put everything you own in the back seat of your car. As far as support goes, I’m still not quite at 100% and am looking to meet up with the last couple people who can push me over my goal!
Prayer Requests/Praises
- I don’t know what the weather is like where everyone else is but in North East Indiana we are getting snowed in which makes travelling around a lot harder and more dangerous. Prayers for safe travels on the slippery roads would be much appreciated!
- A big thank you to everyone who prayed for a smooth transition out of my apartment. God provided and made it a painless move!
Travel Update
For those of you who don’t know, when I arrive in North Africa, I will be living with a couple other recent graduates from America (One graduated from Huntington as well!). They began their support raising over the summer and have just landed over there and are now beginning to learn the language and get accustomed to the culture. I’ve been in contact with the guy from Huntington and will remain in contact until I head over there myself. He said everything started off well and they are enjoying their time there. This is great news to me and I can’t wait to catch up with them in a couple months.
