Answered Prayers:

  • More prayer meetings among the expats and locals are starting to happen! Praise the Lord.

In the month of May, God spoke these verse to me…

“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9,10)

One of the Thursday mornings, through these words, God gave me a huge and significant picture. The picture of the gates of heaven wide open as rays of blinding lights were shining from the inside. As the locals turned their face towards the light, they couldn’t help but to fall on their knees in awe and fear. This powerful picture reminded me God’s vision for this country and His heart for his lost children. Let’s pray for the big picture of His will and vision. Pray that more tongues will confess and knees will bow before the Lord in Jesus’ name.

One home that our team went to was Martha’s and she has a daughter in wheelchair. Our team has done studies with them and prayed for the daughter for deliverance. And every time, Jesus speaks in clear ways. For example, there were many intense moments during the prayer time, but in the end, the daughter ended up having an open vision of Jesus & heard in her vision that she will be healed. Jesus talked to her for about twenty minutes and told her various things about each person on our team. Pray for her complete deliverance and physical healing.

The rest of our team went to a village where they met with Carl, the head of the village where Bobo lives. One of our national partners shared with him about Jesus' sacrifice. Carl openly received all of what was said. Then, they did a discovery Bible study with Carl on the creation story. When asked who he could share it with, he said he could share with twenty or thirty people the next day in the mosque. Keep in mind that Carl is the one who sings out the call to prayer in the mosques five times a day. Pray that God will use him to call people to Jesus.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Ask God to raise up a prayer movement and a disciple making movement in Artesia. In particular, pray for more workers to be sent out into the harvest.
  2. Let’s pray that God will continue to build up local leaders in prayers and catch this vision of prayer movement.
  3. Pray for our water projects in villages, that we would effectively lead and manage them, and that people would be motivated to do the manual labor needed in order to complete the projects.
